The purpose of the study program is education of students for work in the field of physical education and sport and gaining the title of a graduate professor of physical education and sport. Study program contributes to the improvement of research and professional work and development of the field of physical education and sport. Study program provides introduction to modern scientific knowledge and achievements in the field of physical education and sport, the formation of a critical stance and development of critical thinking.

indent1 Physical education and sports activities are very important, both for our society and for modern civilization. The role of the education of competent professional staff to work in the education system and the system of sport. Social role is seen primarily from the standpoint of the value of physical education and sport and its importance in the life of child, youth and adults.

indent1 The program provides acquiring social competence that are not only justified and useful, but necessary, trains its own staff to conduct various programs and their research (analytics and diagnostics).

indent1 Study program of graduate academic studies in physical education and sport has a purpose: the acquisition of knowledge which is a function of training for work in the field of physical education, acquire the necessary knowledge to work in sports (education specialist in sports), education experts in the field of recreation, training students for logical linking of teaching units in the function of activities that will engage, enabling students to continue education at higher education.

indent1 The purpose of the study program is fully in line with the basic tasks and goals of the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education. Instructional content that is taught in the study program in line with the general mission and goals of the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education in creating a modern, competent and independent experts in the field of physical education, sport and recreation, according to the needs of the community.
