The function of the competence of students, study program includes a series of general education, theoretical-methodological and scientific subjects which are a condition for the understanding and realization of professional application courses.

The program has the following objectives:
 Mastering knowledge in the field of social sciences are important for the performance of teachers, trainers and recreators;
 gaining knowledge in the field of biomedical science that are functional theory and methodology: physical education, sport and recreation;
 master the practical skills necessary to work in physical education, sport and recreation;
 gaining knowledge of the methods of physical education, methods of individual sports industry, sports training methods and methodology of sports in general recreation;
 training students for creative work in physical education, sport and recreation;
 enabling students to study at higher levels of education;
 training students for self-improvement and in the process of professional competence;
 enabling students to acquire knowledge through modern information systems;
 to enable students to work in younger and older primary school;
 to enable students to work in the teaching of physical education for secondary school;
 to enable students to work with athletes under the age categories;
 that enable students to work in sports in accordance with the nomenclature of titles and occupations;
 to enable students to work in recreation.

The program aims for students to understand the inter-disciplinary professionals and knowledge to successfully connect the different educational areas.
The program allows students, through its implementation of practical and theoretical exercises to gain knowledge on the basis of direct involvement.
The aim of the program is that students acquire the necessary degree and general knowledge which is necessary for their professional activity.
